I want to introduce you to one of my very favorite companies we have run across. It is called A Gracious Plenty. This is a family run business based out of Atlanta, Georgia and she makes some of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen! I just love personalized gifts. I want to focus this feature on all of her engraved pieces.

Growing up my parents had a bowl like the Large Alexa Salad bowl. Even with 7 children it stayed in very good condition. Well a few yrs ago the foundation of my parent's house fell and my parents had to move to the condo that they now live in. The condo is just blocks from the location where I grew up (the house was razed about 2 yrs ago and my sister is now building there). In the few blocks to move a good portion of their items to the condo from the house which was being shored up this bowl broke. I know that it would be a good item to give to my mother for Mother's Day.

This year has been really tough for me. I moved, I've had health problems, most of my things are still over 200 miles away. My mom bought me warm clothes when it was freezing (including a really warm neopolatain jacket), she tried to help me get a job at her workplace, she bought my antibiotics for me and cranberry juice when I had a UTI. Just this past week she bought me some summer clothes because I've been really hot at my house. She took me in to help me get on Oregon Health Plan when I can't drive. I have no clue how to repay her other than doing her yardwork and housework and my back is starting to hurt from all the work.
This engraved necklace is precious, its pretty and it needs to be my mom's.
